David Addison BSc (Hons)
Director, General Manager
David has over twenty years experience in science and medicine, pharmaceutical research and development and healthcare. David had a successful management career in the pharmaceutical industry, both in Australia and internationally. He has been involved in educational programs and scientific associations throughout his career, including ASCEPT and the Drug Information Association. Since starting Pharma/Avanti Events in 1996, David has developed an extensive knowledge of the meetings industry.
Barbara Addison-Weiss
Director, Accounts Manager
Barbara manages all finances for Avanti Events projects and clients. Barbara has international pharmaceutical industry experience and has worked in Pharma/Avanti Events since its conception.
Terry Bleyer
Senior Event Manager
Terry has over 26 years experience in the travel/ tourism industry working in retail, corporate, sales and marketing, inbound, conference & incentives and events. It has involved working with all facets from creation of the client brief to the completion of the event including client liaison, transport - land and air, food & beverage, conference & exhibition space, accommodation, audio visual, entertainment, pre & post extension travel, team building, accounts invoicing & reconciliation. Terry worked for Pacific World Bali as Director of MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences exhibitions). He was contracted by Coca Cola for their Teen Program during the Sydney Olympics with a staff of 17 in 3 teams who looked after more than 300 teenagers from 15 countries.
Nicole Santer
Senior Event Manager
Nicole Santer has significant experience in planning, designing and managing corporate events including all aspects of conferences, seminars, gala dinners, award nights, road show events and promotional events and other experiences. Nicole entered the industry in 1998 as an independent event management consultant and has been working on this basis ever since. Nicole sets new benchmarks in client service, project management, event design and creativity, and overall excellence. Nicole prides herself on her versatility, flexibility, lateral thinking and sophistication, and ensures all events meet the required outcome every time.
Jessica Scicluna
Event Coordinator
Jessica has a valued appreciation of medical meeting requirements with a great deal of experience with investigator meetings. She is involved in both association and corporate projects. Responsible for registration, database management and client support.

Matthew joined Avanti Events in 2007 after earning his Diploma in Events Management and working on in North Queensland in events. He has worked on conferences, incentives and supported events, been responsible for registration, data base management and client support.
